Jobberman’s Opeyemi Awoyemi Starts Fund For Undergrad Startup Founders

One of Jobberman’s Founders, Opeyemi Awoyemi and Passion Incubator’s Olufunbi Falayi are starting a fund to help start-up ideas of Nigerian university undergrads and recent graduates. Tagged Fast Forward, this initiative plans to invest up to N200 million (just over $600,000) in conjunction with Nigerian university alumni and other high net-worth individuals.

For up to 25 percent equity in each venture, they would invest between N250,000 and N2,000,000. Talk about making dreams come true. According to Opeyemi, the idea is to encourage entrepreneurship and to ‘...make our schools the bedrocks of innovation again”.
