Port-Harcourt is about to have a major food hackathon event known as the
StartleTech Hackathon. The event tagged ‘Lets Hack Food’, is
a competition that invites teams of contestants to develop and design a
solution to food issues in Rivers State.
It is a 3 day hackathon billed to hold from the 16th
to 18th June 2017. 18 persons will form a team of 3 and work on any solution that they think
will best provide solution to the Food sector in Rivers State. Attendees will recieve details of the app t o be built on the day of the event.
The Hackathon is organised by StartleTech, an info tech company based in
Port-Harcourt in conjunction with KoWorkNg. Prizes for winners include N300,000
cash prize and also co-working space at KoworkNg Hub.
Registration is open to teams of
programmers and developers. Persons with interest in app design and development
can also apply.
